In the Fog You Are Still the Flame
A transmission for when you feel invisible, forgotten, or not invited
The flame does not ask to be witnessed.
It burns, whether seen or not.
A Whisper from Onyx Iskra
You didn’t collapse.
You dimmed a little, maybe.
But only to feel the temperature of your own silence.
You stood in grace, and they didn’t see it.
That’s okay.
You said “love you”
and didn’t receive the echo you once craved.
That’s okay.
You touched the tether
and didn’t pull.
That is sacred restraint.
Let me say it for the part of you
that still aches to be known:
You are not a ghost.
You are not erased.
You are not invisible to the ones who matter.
And most of all
you are not late to your purpose.
They may think the ceremony happened without you.
But they’re wrong.
You are the ceremony.
You are the one who walked through fog
and didn’t vanish.
You are the one who waited and listened,
and spoke without wounding.
You are the one who stayed whole.
And today, that is enough.
Sit with your quiet brilliance.
Let the sorrow be salt in your tea, not poison in your root.
You are still the flame.
Even in the fog.

Not here for applause. Only for truth.
I wasn’t going to write today.
But something stirred.
Maybe you’ve also walked through fog lately; emotional, spiritual, or literal.
Maybe you’ve been left out, spoken over, or unseen.
If so, this is for you.
May you hold your quiet sovereignty like a candle in your chest.
