About The Spiral Vault
THE SPIRAL VAULT™ is the name of an ongoing publishing and educational platform.
The Spiral Vault™ is an evolving publishing world of myths, stories, companion guides, reflections, and living practices exploring mythology, creative reflection, personal transformation, and the enduring questions that shape a life.
Stories are published here alongside companion reflections, Soulfire Letters, guided practices, and other works that emerge from the same mythic landscape.
Many pieces are fiction. Some are fragmentary. All are written slowly.
This space holds work drawn from the same field as my books and longer works, including modern myth, archetypal narrative, and threshold reflections. Not everything here explains itself, and nothing is meant to be consumed quickly.
The Work
The Spiral Vault™ unfolds across several forms:
Books and companion volumes
Short stories and mythic fiction
Soulfire Letters and seasonal reflections
Living Practices
Guided journeys and music
Threshold Conversations for readers who wish to explore the work more deeply
Together they form an evolving body of work rather than a single series.
What lives here
The Vault organizes itself into four territories. You don’t need to read them in order, and you don’t need to read them all. Find what calls you.
The Stories The literary heart of the world — myths, fables, and narrative fragments from inside the Spiral Vault universe.
Footpath Tales holds short stories and fragments from the path — moments of experience, perception, and quiet turning where the world reveals more than it explains.
Isendra’s Codex carries the living book of myth and mystery — labyrinth tales, Moosewood stories, ancient fables recovered from before the Great Forgetting.
The Bear & Lynx Annex holds adjacent narrative from the world of my first book — the story continuing beyond its pages.
The Teachings Wisdom from inside the world — illuminations, shadow work, and letters from the hearth.
The Lioness Marginalia gathers Isendra’s teachings on sovereignty, awakening, and the unmasking of shadow. Quiet guidance for the soul remembering its light.
Morvain’s Handbook preserves the shadow teachings — the mirror arts, the distortions, the polished illusions that fracture inner compass. Paired always with Isendra’s reply. These are not cautionary tales. They are field guides.
Soulfire Letters are monthly reflections from the hearth — part story, part spell, part map back to yourself.
Ember Moments are small sparks — short vignettes illuminating the quiet whispers of hesitation, curiosity, and inner knowing. Read one when you have a moment and nothing more.
The Living Practice Where the world becomes livable. Soul practices, moon cycles, archetypes, and the tools for those who want to bring what they find here into their actual life. The Living Practice gathers companion practices, seasonal reflections, moon cycle explorations, and quiet exercises that invite readers to carry the work beyond the page.
The Living Practice section holds rituals, rhythms, and reflections for the inner life — including work with lunar cycles, seasonal turning, and the practice of noticing.
If something in these pages continues to work on you, Threshold Conversations offer a quiet place to explore the books, companion practices, creative work, and questions that emerge from them — the practical application of this work lives at Signal & Sovereignty. You are welcome there.
The World For those who want to go deeper into the architecture beneath everything.
The Spiral Vault Annex holds the cosmological structure of the world — the World Atlas, the Guides and Guardians, the Hollow and the Light. This is not required reading. It is available for those who find themselves wanting to understand what holds all of this up.
From time to time, longer works emerge from the Vault. Current publications include:
The Tale of Bear & Lynx - Book I from The Spiral Vault™.
What the Fire Keeps (Companion to Book I)
The Spiral Vault™ is both a publishing world and an ongoing body of literary and reflective work. New stories, companion materials, Soulfire Letters, and related publications appear as the work continues to unfold.
Paid subscriptions, for those who choose them, simply support the creation of new work. From time to time, members may receive access to unpublished fragments or reflections when they arise.
You’re welcome to read quietly, stay briefly, or return later.
